I've lived in Sacramento my whole life and somehow had never been to the Crocker Art Museum. Thank you to the friendly staff and the owner Donna who I have had the pleasure of meeting, love your store! The newer baby gift section was very much welcomed and has the most beautiful styles. I shop here often (love the poo-pourri) yes I spelled it right.a total need for every bathroom and we always buy the soaps and jewelry. They welcomed me and my busy child with smiles. When we first visited here I was hesitant to go in because I have a small child and the store is so beautiful and looked like a "don't touch" shop, but we went in anyway and when we entered we were offered cookies (it's candy now) and I paid a few dollars for my daughter to get a glitter tattoo so i could look around, the staff made me feel comfortable.

The jewelry is reasonably priced and the quality is very high. We love this store and it has been perfect for buying gifts for myself or others that like exclusive and unique items. The staff is always friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about all the items in the store. This is what you call abusing the customers. There is NO REASON a damaged/repaired item should be sold above market value WITHOUT acknowledging that it was repaired. When I asked the cashier “How could you guys put this item back on the shelf for the same price?” She looked at me and told me that “Management told me to put it back because it was salvageable.” I told her “There isn’t even a sign that states the item was repaired or damaged.” She told me “I’m just the messenger.” She didn’t seem concerned at all that this company was misrepresenting it’s product and it’s condition. I went in the store today and that SAME item, that I purchased, was “fixed” and put back on display for the SAME amount of $319. I realize that they were able to price match at the $255 price point, but considering it was damages, there should’ve been a bigger discount. I was shocked that they were asking so much over the market price.

Upon opening, I saw that one of the hands had been previously repaired with glue and the other hand had a red mark on it. I came home, excited about this purchase and I opened my item. The cashier wrapped those up fairly quickly, and I didn’t get a chance to view them. The only items I was not able to verify was her hands that detach from her arms. I was asked to examine the item and I did. I was excited and really happy when they were able to price match from the other store. I was a little put off that it was $319 when, on Amazon and another store it was priced at $255. I was pleased to see the Maleficent item I wanted in stock. I went in about a couple of weeks ago to buy a product from a collection I collect.
